Rural Fences

We build rural fences for stock management, land and pasture management, crop, stock, and land protection (eg waterways, native bush/reserve), and legal requirements (to stop stock wandering).

Action Fencing uses industry best practice techniques combined with carefully, hand-picked materials – no wonky posts! Every client has different requirements and Action Fencing pride themselves on their flexibility to meet clients’ needs. Eg. a Labour and materials price, using selected materials from preferred suppliers; Labour only pricing if the client prefers.

We are experienced over a range of terrains – when machinery and equipment cannot get on the fence line because of steep terrain, or wetland areas – we hand-dig. When comparing quotations be sure to note that AF quotes include ‘the extras’ at time of quote eg, strainers, angles, foots, best practice spacings and hand picked posts – so you don’t get caught out when you receive your bill and extras have not been included in the quote.

Post, Wire and Batten Fencing

Post, wire and batten fencing is one of the most common types of rural fencing and is stock proof for sheep, cattle and horses. Generally 2.5 mm wire is used, though horse fencing may use 4 mm wire and coastal fencing requires a special galvinised wire.
